All the information you need on our Baby & Kinderhotel Sonnelino
We want to you feel perfectly cared for by us and in excellent hands in our establishments from the moment you make your reservation, during your entire stay and right up until your departure. We accept reservations in writing, by fax, by email and by telephone. We ask for your understanding that we cannot make binding commitments for specific room numbers or floors.
Check-In / Check-Out
On the day of your arrival, we will welcome you from 12 noon to carry out the check-in process. Room occupancy is possible from 3 pm - under certain circumstances only from 5 pm. You are welcome to use our wellness area from the time of arrival.
Please note that the day spa fee of € 48.00 will be charged if you use the wellness area before 12 noon on the day of arrival.
On the day of departure we kindly ask you to vacate your room by 10.30 am. Late check-out is only possible subject to availability and in consultation with the reservations department.
Down payment
A fixed reservation can only be made after a deposit of 30% of the total amount of your stay has been paid. The following options are available:

Cancellation
In case of cancellations, the conditions according to Austrian hotel regulations apply:
- Up to a maximum of 3 months before the agreed arrival date: no cancellation fee
Booking fee: €50 - Up to 1 month before the arrival date: 40% of the arranged price
- Up to 1 week before the arrival date: 70% of the arranged price
- In the last week: 90% of the arranged price
In case of late arrival or early departure, depending on the booked accommodation, 70% or 90% of the room price will be charged for the booked time. In the event that we are able to re-rent the room or in the event of coverage by the travel cancellation insurance, you are refunded the down payment you made or your cancellation fee after the expiry of your cancelled holiday minus a booking fee of €50.
Travel cancellation insurance
You can take out your travel cancellation insurance directly with us. To take out the insurance we need the names of all the people travelling with you. The premium must be transferred in advance. Of course you also have the option to take out the cancellation insurance online.

When are bookings possible?
Bookings and enquiries can be made at any time via our website, by telephone or email.
During our annual holidays from November to March, the Hotel & Spa Sonne team is available for you from Monday to Friday from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm by telephone at +43 4239 2337 and by email at sonne@sonne.info.
The planned operating time for the summer season 2024 is from March 28th for the Sonnelino complex and the Hotel & Spa Sonne. The rooms of the Baby+Kinderhotel Sonnelino will be available for you from beginning of May 2024.
Do the Hotel & Spa Sonne and the Baby+Kinderhotel Sonnelino belong together?
Yes, the Sonne holiday hotels include the Hotel & Spa Sonne**** and the Baby+Kinderhotel Sonnelino****.

One free parking space per room is available directly on the hotel grounds.

Dining together with friends staying at the Hotel Sonne or Sonnelino?
You are very welcome to enjoy a meal together at one of our hotels. If you wish to do so, please let us know at the time of booking. Subject to availability, we will be happy to fulfil this wish for you.
I am vegetarian/vegan or have an allergy
We offer a choice of one fish dish and one meatless dish each day. If you have a food allergy or are vegan, please let us know when booking.
Reserving terrace seating/outdoor seating for dinner
The reservation of terrace seating is possible at reception until 12 pm of the same day. Reservations can only be made a maximum of one day in advance.
What are the prices for children?
The children's prices are staggered depending on age group and season.

Are the sockets in the rooms childproof?
In the rooms at the Baby+Kinderhotel Sonnelino, the sockets are protected according to standards. The child safety lock of the SCHUKO Safety socket (VDE test mark) is firmly attached to the socket outlet. The lock only releases when both openings are pressed simultaneously.
The price on the homepage and the price in my offer are different. Why?
Prices on the homepage are baseline prices. Based on the seasonal periods, prices may vary from day to day depending on the booking period. You can find out the current daily prices via our booking portal.
Is there a minimum number of nights?
There is no minimum number of nights. Prices for short stays (1 – 3 nights) are higher.
Can I book at the Hotel Sonne and use the facilities of the Baby+Kinderhotel Sonnelino?
When staying at the Hotel & Spa Sonne**** you can use the services of the Baby+Kinderhotel Sonnelino free of charge.
When staying at the Baby+Kinderhotel Sonnelino**** you can use the services of the Hotel & Spa Sonne free of charge.
Are there beach towels in the room?
Beach towels are provided for you in a beach bag in the room. One beach towel is provided per adult.
What are the check-in times? Is earlier/later arrival possible?
For your arrival, rooms are ready for occupancy from 3 pm, although in some cases this may take until 5 pm. On the day of departure, you must vacate the hotel room by 10 am and hand the key back in at reception.
If you arrive earlier (from 12 pm), you are welcome to use the services in the hotel complex as soon as you have checked in at reception. In general, a later departure is possible depending on availability. After checking out at reception, the hotel facilities are still available for your use.
In the low and off-season, the use of a day room (until approx. 2:30 pm) is possible by arrangement and subject to an additional charge.
WiFi
WiFi is available throughout the entire hotel complex with registration.
Is there an additional charge for the use of the sauna?
The use of the sauna is included in your stay.
Are dogs allowed?
Dogs are allowed at the Hotel & Spa Sonne****, albeit with some restrictions (no entry to the restaurant, spa & wellness area, beach (sunbathing lawn or pier) or the children's playground).
Dogs may only be brought with advance notice.
Dogs are not allowed at the Baby+Kinderhotel Sonnelino****.
Are there additional costs for dogs?
A daily flat rate of €15 is charged (without the provision of food) for dogs (at the Hotel & Spa Sonne****).
Do you have a lockable bicycle room for e-bikes?
There is a lockable bicycle room with storage facilities.
Do the rooms have air conditioning?
The Bambino apartments at the Baby+Kinderhotel Sonnelino**** have air conditioning.
At the Hotel & Spa Sonne****, air conditioning is available in the new rooms with the expansion of the Obir wing.
Are the parasol and loungers included?
One parasol and two loungers are included with each room.
Is it possible to borrow a buggy/pram from you?
Buggies and prams can be hired from reception for an additional charge.

Annual holidays 2023/2024
Since November 5th 2023 our Ferienhotels Sonne are on holiday.
2024 the Baby+Kinderhotel is expected to be open again from May.
The Sonnelino facility will be available for use as soon as the Hotel & Spa Sonne opens (planned for 28th March 2024).
